Seth's Asian music study began by learning to play erhu (Chinese 2-string fiddle) from a master in China. He continued by journeying to the steppes of Inner Mongolia to film musicians and study the music of the Mongolian people. He was then asked to join the Silk Road Ensemble and tour, where he learned Kamancha and Saz (middle eastern string instruments).
Recently, he learned to play the đàn bầu (Vietnamese monochord) and đàn nhị (Vietnamese violin) for his continuing work with major Vietnamese motion pictures.
Seth's knowledge of Asian music, and the differences in musical style between cultures, makes him perfectly suited to score all types of Asian films, TV and games.
